Tick bite

Kristine, the tick probably came in on your dog, as you suspect. Don't worry, your chance of getting Lymes Disease are very tiny.
After having Lyme Disease in the past, and maybe still feeling the effects, I do not like ticks. Add that to the fact that I live in Maine where Lyme Disease is at epidemic proportions, especially in my area, and well I do worry. :-) But thanks for trying to be supportive.

Hey! I feel you girl! I contracted lyme disease in Missouri where the doctors swear to me it couldn't be possible. After all we have no deer ticks (or so they said). I'm SOOOOOOOO afraid of ticks now and spray down with half a can of "off" everytime I go outside! I guess that wasn't an option for you since you were inside your own house. I wonder if it would work if we sprayed the dogs down with "off"?
Hello there! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comment. I am glad to know I have others like myself out there. It sure helps. I am sorry to hear about the tick. Have you seen that email going around about putting liquid soap on a cloth and putting it on the tick. It is suppose to make it come out by itself?? I just now checked and discovered it is not true. Thank god for the Urban legends site right? I hope you did get it out and are feeling better now. I was reading your past few blogs and it sounds like you had a rough time. Hospital stay are never fun.
