Has anyone heard anything about shellakers?

Anyone know how shellakers is doing?  She has not posted in months. 

put all my blogs in a book, so that I can have a hard copy of my journal for myself?

I am writing a paper about the book:

The Color of Water: A Black Man's Tribute to His White Mother

James McBride

I am writing this paper from the perspective of his search for his identity as a bi-cultural man.  The perspectives that I want to bring in are race and ethnic identity theory, symbolic interactionism and psychosocial development.

For all the people who have read this novel, and I am far into it myself, is there anything you think I should include in the paper that would best capture this book, and its meaning?  I am not looking for you to do this paper for me, but just to talk about what your thoughts were about the content.

Three people in their forties: Shell,
Three people over 65:

My son's preschool is having 100 days of school day.

He has to bring in 100 of something.  Any suggestions for something different and unique?

peful day it was when I received a package from shellakers because I was having such a tough time.

The package contained:

2, not 1 but 2 loaves of homemade banana bread :-)
1 very cute pair of KISS socks, which I am now wearing :-)
2 beautiful teacups and saucers, 1 from her grandmother's collection (holy shit)
2 packages of tea, green, chamomile, and another :-)
2 cool cards
1 picture of Miss Shell
1 book
